Bedlinog War Memorial

Bedlinog War Memorial, The Square, Bedlinog.

The Names of those from Bedlinog who died in the second World War (1939-45) were inscribed on the rear of the Great War memorial. The memorial has fewer names than for the Great War not only because fewer british soldiers died but also because mining was a reserved occupation, so many from Bedlinog would not have been permitted to join the armed forces

1939-45 Casualties.
