Lan Isaf farm is shown on the modern Ordinance Survey map as Pen-Mount. The general patern of the fields is similar to that of 1841. The farm house (field 276 in 1841) can still be seen, although field 273 at the top has now been developed into a barn complex. Field 262 has now become the extended Bedlinog Cemetery and the other fields below the house seem to have reverted to rough pasture, including field 263 which in 1841 was described as arable i.e it was used for growing crops.

The Tithe value of the farm was £4  4s. 1d.
In the Tithe Schedule the farm is simply called 'Trawscae', although in other documents of the time the name is given as Clawdd Trawscae, the name of the farm to this day. In a Deed of 1576 the property is referred to as ' commonly called Tyre Argoed tule ........ and also of and in 2 acres of meadow being part of the meadow called (y Wayne) Lydan by ancient mears and bounds well known' . The 2 acres referred to would have been the local Welsh acre of 2.3 standard acres, so the meadow would have been 5 acres, and this is undoubtedly the 5 acre field called 'Waun' (No. 1293 - not shown on above map), which is located about 1 mile south of the main farm just off the mountain road.
